In Summer 2010 Sango Association participated in a book drive that resulted in over 12 high schools in Kenya receiving more than 3,000 books each. They volunteered to pack a container full of books and helped to distribute them after they were shipped. This project was sponsored by Bookfriends International and Rotary Club of Barrington.
